If you are ever questioning anything (and you will question yourself all the time) ask "is this in the best interest of the child?" If you answer yes, then you are doing good. The students will take their cue from you; not only teach, but model everything, even attitude. Lastly, balance your home life with work, you need to be happy in all areas to be truly successful.

The best thing about teaching is knowing that I am changing these students lives for the better. And honestly, they have changed me for the better too.
