I would advise new teachers to find a mentor to work with as not "everything" is learned in school. To keep motivated, surround yourself with positive people! To keep up to date with the "latest and greatest" strategies and information, go to trainings and workshops for additional learning and to get new ideas. Provide a variety of opportunities to meet the individual needs of each student's learning style.

The best thing about teaching is watching the students when they are really engaged in a project and when the students experience their "ah-ha" moments!
