| Description |
California Ed Pathway Pre-Apprenticeship (EPPA) and Teacher Apprenticeship Programs (TAP) are US DOL and CA DAS registered stackable apprenticeships for developing a community-and-school driven teaching workforce that serves future teachers starting at the community college level. CA EPPA and TAP provide multi-layer mentoring, career exploration, wraparound engagement, dedicated counseling, job shadowing and/or placement, and basic needs stipends to support future teachers in pursuing a debt-free bachelor's degree and teaching credential. Core partners include CA Community Colleges, Cal State Universities, and feeder school districts in Los Angeles and Antelope Valley. |
