University of California - Davis - School of Education
School of Education
The UC Davis School of Education marshals the knowledge and resources of the world's top public university to effect and support change in schools and community colleges. We educate and mentor high quality teachers and educational leaders who serve as advocates for all learners. We engage in research and policy analysis focused on student outcomes. Our science single subject credential program prepares teachers with the knowledge and skills to promote high quality, hands-on science education for California's diverse classrooms. Our mathematics single subject credential aims to prepare and develop teachers to lead in today's high technology mathematics classroom. We emphasize the use of technology in making mathematics accessible to all students. Each UC Davis elementary and secondary credential program (agriculture, English, mathematics, science, and social science) offers the student the opportunity to complete the credential program and masters degree in six quarters.
