Credential/License From Another State
Print Checklist
Complete a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
A professional preparation program in elementary education, including student teaching, with a minimum grade of "C" on a five-point scale, taken at a regionally-accredited institution accredited by the state certification agency of the state in which the program was completed.
Issued or eligible for a comparable teaching credential from another state.
Completion of an academic major in the subject of the credential sought.
Three or more years of full-time teaching experience in the subject of the credential sought.
Evidence of rigorous performance evaluations on which you received a rating of "satisfactory" or better.
NOTE: All documentation should be submitted to the
Commission on Teacher Credentialing
