I have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning, or 6:15 then be at school by 7:15 - 7:20. I usually make it by 7:15 - 7:20. Once in a while, once in a while I kind of slip there but usually by 7:15 – 7:20. And then each class is about an hour. You have breaks in between. You have about a 10 minute break in between classes. I have to plan a lesson for every single day. Really, really important. I cannot do what I do without planning a lesson. Lesson planning is really important and there’s a thing called a prep period for teachers. For me I don’t’ really have a prep. For me it’s, I’m a coach. So actually two of my periods I’m coaching other teachers in the other classrooms and then at the end of the day I leave home around 4 o’clock, actually 5 o’clock because I do tutoring after school. There’s an after school program here. I do tutoring after school so I leave at 5 and then as I’m driving home, you know, I might go home and relax or whatever. Then about 7 o’clock I might just reflect. You know I reflect ‘ok what worked today? Who, which student do I really have to call?’ So I reflect where I do wrong, what could I do better, who do I have to specifically call home? I do that and then about 7 o’clock every day I might, you know, briefly plan the lesson for tomorrow. And then besides that, I chill.
