One is the opportunity to work with the students that I get to work with. There’s a lot of people that have a really odd idea about working with teenagers and adolescents in school and I think it’s really, kind of, a misguided idea as to what really happens in classrooms and teaching. And the second part is I love the creativity that my job allows me to have. When I come into my classroom and I put together a lesson, it’s really what I put together and how I pull it off and that is something I really enjoy. Not independence from topic material that I have to cover, but I have independence on how I want to teach, and that is pretty appealing.
